The 50 is a feature-length documentary that explores how a group of incarcerated men who were once underestimated became certified counselors and agents of change within California’s prison system.

 

The design direction used a black and white palette with blue and yellow accents inspired by prison uniforms. By combining serif typography for titles with handwritten elements and subtle textures, I created a look that feels both gritty and refined while maintaining a clean visual tone.
